Bronze Medallion

This is a 15-hour course over 3 days.
Bronze Medallion develops the four components of water rescue – judgement, knowledge, skill, and fitness. Candidates work on their problem-solving and decision-making skills. Bronze Medallion is a prerequisite to Bronze Cross. The successful completion of a 400m swim within 12 minutes is required to pass this course.

Prerequisites:
13 years of age or successful completion of Bronze Star if under 13.
