Bronze Star

This is a 10-hour course over 2 days.
Bronze Star improves swimming proficiency and begins to develop lifesaving skills that will be carried into Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and future lifeguarding courses. Candidates learn self-rescue skills and work on their problem-solving abilities as individuals and in a team setting.

Prerequisites:
Ability to swim proficiently and comfortably in deep water. Recommended completion of Patrol levels. Includes a 400m fitness training workout.
