Lifeguard/Swim Instructor Job Title: Lifeguard/Swim Instructor Reports to: Aquatic Coordinator/Deck Supervisor Weekly Hours: Part-time (varying hours) Closing Date: November 6, 2026 Wage: $19.50-20.25 per hour Position Summary The Rural Municipality of Springfield is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and safety-focused individuals to join our aquatics team as Lifeguards / Swim Instructors. The RM of Springfield leases the pool facility at Dugald Place and provides aquatic programming and services for the community. Lifeguards / Swim Instructors are responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for pool patrons while delivering lifeguarding and swimming instruction services. Deck Supervisor Job Title: Deck Supervisor Union / Non-Union: Non- Union Weekly Hours: Part-time (Evenings and weekends) Closing Date: November 6, 2026 Wage: $22.00 per hour   Position Summary The Deck Supervisor reporting directly to the Aquatic Coordinator is responsible to oversee the delivery and day-to-day operation of RM aquatic programs within a leased pool facility. The Deck Supervisor provides on-site leadership to lifeguards and swim instructors, supports the safe delivery of aquatic programming, and ensures municipal aquatic staff follow established safety procedures, program standards, and operational policies.
