Criti Care EMS is hiring Beach Safety Officers for the 2025 Beach Safety
Program at Birds Hill Provincial Park.
Beach Safety Officers deliver a comprehensive beach safety service including:
• Water monitoring
• Emergency water rescue
• Public information
• First aid and medical first response
• Assistance with missing persons
• Soft enforcement of park rules
Qualifications Required
• National Lifeguard - Pool
• Current Intermediate/Standard First Aid (FA2) and CPR C
• Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)
• Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Child Abuse Registry Check (CARC)
• 17 years of age by June 5
Applicants are required to successfully complete classroom and waterfront training prior to
being offered a position.
