National Lifeguard Waterfront – Cross over

Lifeguarding a waterfront is very different than lifeguarding a pool. This course is an add-on to an NLS Pool course. To take this course, you must have already completed NLS.

This course will be Thursday to Saturday, June 11-13, 2026, from 8:30-6:00. Part of Thursday will be at an Indoor Pool in Winnipeg (location: TBA). Friday and Saturday will be at Birds Hill Park Waterfront, about 20 minutes outside of Winnipeg).

$279 if payment is made before May 24; after that, it will be $299. GST will be added to the total. This does not include the park admission fee.

You will need the books that you would have used in your NL Pool course. You will also need a Fox 40 whistle (or other whistle that works when it gets wet), CPR mask, first aid gloves, wetsuit, towels, sunscreen and insect repellant (recommended).
