Bronze Star

Lifesaving – Bronze Star awards are mailed to successful candidates by the Lifesaving Society.
Manuals recommended but not required for the course (available at the pool):
• Canadian Lifesaving Manual.

*For Children 10-14 years who have completed Swimmer 9/ Star Patrol but are not eligible for Bronze Medallion.

The following items must be purchased in order to participate:

1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve

1 whistle (recommended Fox 40)

100 % attendance and participation are required.

Candidates are encouraged to bring goggles.
Candidates are required to bring long-sleeved shirt & pants to swim in for some items.
