What to Bring: Canadian Lifesaving Manual and a Fox 40 Whistle (manuals available through Lifesaving Society Manitoba)

Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion

Ready to take your lifesaving skills to the next level? The Bronze Cross course challenges participants with advanced training and introduces the fundamentals of safe supervision in aquatic facilities.

You’ll learn the difference between lifesaving and lifeguarding, practice emergency procedures, and develop teamwork and leadership skills. Training includes rescues for spinal injuries, pulseless victims, and victims in deteriorating situations.

Note: Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for advanced programs like the Distinction Award, National Lifeguard Award, and Lifesaving Instructor Award.
