Bronze Star

The Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Star is a foundational step for young people looking towards Lifeguarding. Candidates will learn CPR, self-rescue techniques, and build technical skill in the pool. **Attendance to the entire course is required to pass.**

Candidates are encouraged to complete the Canadian Swim Patrol before Bronze Star. Bronze Star is a required prerequisite for Bronze Medallion candidates under 13 years old. Candidates are not certified until a pass is processed by the Lifesaving Society.
