National Lifeguard Pool Recertification

This 4 hour course/exam will review/examine the NL Pool course. Participants must give the examiner the prerequisites before the course starts. Prerequisites are NL Pool. All participants must bring an Alert Manual .
Candidates should review the Alert manual and make yourself familiar with the revised requirements which include a fitness component, and prepare to be evaluated on the mandatory recertification items.
Completion Criteria:
• Attend and participate in 100 % of the course.
• Successfully demonstrate competency in required skills, activities and final evaluation.

Pre-Course Requirements: (participants must provide qualification at beginning of class)
• National Lifeguard Pool Award

Program includes classroom and water activities – 100 % attendance and participation are required.
Awards are issued to the candidate by mail. Certification of this award is for 2 years.
