National Lifeguard Waterfront

Lifeguarding a waterfront is very different than lifeguarding a pool. There is changing weather, changing water conditions, murky water, rocks, sandbars and things living in it.

This course is an add-on to an National Lifeguard(NL) Pool course. To take this course, you must have already taken NL.

The first day of the course will be at an indoor pool in Winnipeg (location: to be confirmed). The rest of the day will be at Birds Hill Park Waterfront.

– Thursday, July 10, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
– Friday, July 11, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
– Saturday, July 12, 9:00am to 6:00 pm
– Sunday, July 13, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Prerequisite: National Lifeguard Pool
