Bronze Cross

This is a 20-hour course over 4 days.
Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding. Candidates develop their teamwork and communication skills. Bronze Cross provides the opportunity to work as an Assistant Lifeguard and is a prerequisite to National Lifeguard and Swim for Life Instructor courses required to Lifeguard and Swim Instruct in Manitoba. The successful completion of a 400m swim within 11 minutes is required to pass this course.

Prerequisites:
Successful completion of Bronze Medallion required. Bronze Medallion card must be provided on first day of class.
